McGonigle, a proud U.S. Navy veteran, devoted husband and father, and beloved friend, who passed away on July 24, 2026, at the age of 39. His passing has left a profound void in the lives of those who knew him, but his legacy of service, generosity, and unwavering loyalty will continue to endure.
Born on March 22, 1987, Patrick was the eleventh of twelve children in the well-known McGonigle family. Growing up in a bustling household where family was everything, he learned early lessons about patience, resilience, and the importance of always showing up for the people you love. Those values became the hallmark of his life. Friends often joked that if you had a problem at 2 a.m., Pat would already be on his way to help before you even finished making the call.
A 2006 graduate of Maple Shade High School, Patrick excelled in football and wrestling, developing the toughness and determination that would guide him throughout life. After attending Williamson Trade School and discovering a passion for carpentry, he answered a greater calling by enlisting in the United States Navy. Serving as a member of the Construction Battalion, known as the Seabees, Patrick proudly lived by the motto, “We Build, We Fight.” During five years of service, he was stationed in locations including Diego Garcia, Japan, Afghanistan, Bahrain, and Iraq.
Following his military service, Patrick built a successful career with ARCO Construction, where he spent a decade as a respected site manager. Colleagues admired his leadership, work ethic, and practical expertise.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Patrick’s greatest joy was his family. He shared a lifelong love story with his wife, Andrea, his high school sweetheart, and cherished every moment spent with their children, Logan and Tessa. Whether swimming, exploring the outdoors, or simply spending time together, Patrick devoted his heart to his family.
He is survived by his wife, children, mother Barbara, eleven siblings, and a large extended family who will forever treasure his memory. Patrick S. McGonigle’s life was one of service, kindness, and dedication. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
